Jyalox 95P ceramic Stress Relieving Bead insulator

 The electrical device is in the form of a flexible heater mat, which is lined with alumina ceramic interlocking beads. The electric heating elements are supported by ceramic beads that insulate the device from the welded structure. Jyalox 95P Ceramic Stress Relief Bead Insulators are mechanically tough, strong and resistant to the abuse of rough handling common to pad heater mats in heavy construction industry use. These pad heaters are assembled with interlocking sintered alumina ceramic beads that isolate stranded nickel-chrome wires. This durable construction makes for a flexible mat of remarkable mechanical strength.




Flexible electrical heating mats are most useful in stress relief applications, as the interlocking pattern of ceramic beads gives the mat maximum flexibility to properly cover the heating element from coming into contact with the area required to be heated, such as concave, convex and flat surfaces of channels, pipes, etc. surface. Several mats can be joined together to cover large areas of ducts, pipes etc. required for stress relief treatment. Ceramic flexible pad heaters are used in the fabrication industry for pre- and post-heating of workpieces (stress relief beads).
